y reg mondeo 2.0 tddi wont start
hi a mate of mine has this problem with his Mondeo estate when it first started it was diagnosed as egr faulty so we blanked it off then the car ran sweet for 2/3 days then cut out on him & wouldn't start. so he left it for 1/2 hours it then fired up and drove home. he went to it the next day started fine but cut out after half a mile and wouldn't start back up so we changed fuel filter for a genuine ford bled the system back up but still wouldn't start tried towing it and nothing. it will start with easy start but cuts out when you stop spraying any advice would be most appreciated

Is the pump by the tank definitely working? They do fail quite often.
Check the wiring to the high pressure pump. Mine had a corroded wire there causing intermittent running. Give the wiring a wiggle while trying to start it.
Cam sensors are also pretty common to fail too.

Sounds like an injector fault to me.
I had a very similar issue, car would start fine cold, once started even running for a few minutes it wouldn't start again until left to go completely cold. - often Hours later.
It ran like this for a good while, and then eventually wouldn't start at all.
I performed a leak off test on the injectors whilst cranking. One pot filled almost immediately.
Replaced that injector.
Problem solved.
