Default Newbie with Mondeo related questions

Having enjoyed a convertible Saab, then having my roof down dreams squashed by a very small baby shaped person (and my inability to afford 2 cars at once!) I set off in search of something else

Ended up with a poverty spec Citroen diesel which is great, apart from the poverty spec bit and the broken air con (im a bit on the fat side and like being cool)

Had a hankering for a Mondeo for a while, with their reputation of being generally very good cars, so looking for one now! Want something the complete opposite of poverty spec, so taking my time!

What im really looking for is a buyers guide for a 2003-2005 diesel model, so i dont end up buying a dog! I looked briefly but couldnt find one! Any advice for me would be greatly appreciated!

Avoid a tdci mondeo like the plague. Just read up on injector and fuel pump issues and you will wee why. The only good mk3 diesel to go for is the very early tddi's on a 51 and early 02 plate, and the 2.2 St tdci which should both give you little bother.

All I can see on ebay are TDCis! Thats quite annoying! Seems this search will take longer than I thought!

Thank you for the warning!

Another quick question, if I got a car without the sat nav or rear headrest screens, are they difficult to add?
