Hi guys just a quick one, I have a mk 3 115 tdci and was thinking what would be sensible in ways of improving the performance. Thinking about a remap, is there anything I should do before the remap or alongside it?

 

Get it remapped, don't bother doing anything else with it, you will get upto 40 bhp with a remap and aprox 5/10 more mpg.
Everybody I know who as had a diesel remapped all say they wish they had got it done earlier

Don't bother with Terraclean. Made no difference whatsoever to my Mk4 TDCi. I recorded every single tank of fuel ever since i bought the car, and there was no difference before, or after the Terraclean. It 'may' clean the engine, but it doesn't improve performance or economy in my experience.
