Default Rubbing rear brake only when cornering

Anyone know or had this before,

Mk3 Diesel estate.

When i corner right, ie going round a roundabout, my rear brake pad rubs very slightly.
i know its the rear as when i pull the hand brake, it shuts up.

It doesnt do it driving straight or going round a left hand corner.

Any ideas?

cheers

Have you given a wheel a waggle to see if the bearing is on its way out?

Not yet mate, but will be my first thing to try.

Just wondered of anyone else has had this before.

I did the rear bearing on the other side not long ago, so wouldn't suprize me if this ones on its way now. They would last about the same time, so was due to give in any time.

It would be my first suspicion, or maybe odd pad wear caused by a seized caliper. But the bearing is the chief suspect. At least it's a straightforward fix. I replaced the one on the passenger side, and put copper slip on the thread, so the bolts should come out easily.
