The injectors will properly need to be re coded because of the reconditioning

Not 100% sure if this is causing the problem tho

Might be a silly question but have you bleed the injectors while someone cranks the engine over?

Done one recently, you have to write down the code numbers on the injectors and then re install the codes into the ecu, other wise the ecu does not recignise them. [ sorry about poor spelling!!]

Found on Google that a SnapOn Solus Pro can recode the injectors if you can find a garage with one and the correct lead for the Mondeo

Yeh the solus can programme and sync the injectors I had to do it last week, find out if the put the injectors back to the same cylinder as disconnecting to get it reconditioned wouldn't reset the memory unless they replace the electrics on top, is the car still in the garage then

apparently the ecu is knackered due to water damage and is uneconomical to repair so a new one is needed

Why can't you get a second hand ecu from eBay for a 3rd of the price and then get Ford to reprogram that?
