Central locking issues

Central locking issues
My st wont lock un lock with key unless i am sitting in the car any ideas as I thought was battery in remote

Have you tried putting a little bit of paper inside the remote key fob to support the circuit board, when pressing the buttons you get better contact.

I've noticed with my snap on diagnostics that you can get the keys reprogrammed. Might help but don't know what a garage would charge.

No i haven't mate tbh it started working the next day

I can get my mate to plug into a snap on diagnotics machine, but it started working the next day
