intercoolers mondi st
Hi all,
this is my first post on here, just wondering what your views are on intercoolers and custom exhausts? i have an 07 performance blue ST which has had an Evolution remap and a wingspeed decat fitted, to date thats all i have had done along with a HID light upgrade.
What would you recommend to further enhance the engine.
thanks smartst.

hi mate, yes i think i know the one you mean, Airtec 60mm core for around £280, was wondering what the benefits are if truely any?, apparently the fitting kits are better but the slam panel needs cutting slightly to fit.
thanks smartst

Was looking at the airtec one yesterday, think i'm going to get one for mine then a re map, tests show 5 bhp and 31lb torque increase just by bolting it on!
Where did you get your re map from? i'm after one for mine!!

Cool, i'll have a look into that.
As for your exhaust, why not do it on the cheap? The weld broke on mine where the pipe joins the rear box when i was on the motorway the other week, it sounded real good and seemed to rev easier ( already have a decat pipe on it ) so when i got home, i bought some 57mm i/d pipe ( £16 for 2 metres and 2 clamps ) cut off the same length as the rear box is, slid it onto the system and clamped, then welded my original downswept piece and chrome tailpipe on - sorted. Looks factory but is totally un restricted. Best of all, cost me £16.
I can send you a length and clamp if you cover the postage cost if you wanted??
