Default XR2 Alarm

how do you wire a basic alarm into a mk2 xr2? just a one with a couple of sensors?

The car does not matter, you will, or should have a wiring diagram for the alarm ?, or is it one of the super basic ones with just two/three wires ?
The most basic are just connected to the battery pos + and neg -, then one wire to the interior light circuit.
It would be much better to get a Toad Ai606 off the bay, as easy to wire in but far better protection, a lot more wires to do but easy if you take your time.

ah right i dodnt know they were wired into the interior light, so it uses the same sensors as the light does, never knew that lol.

i just want a one to make some noise if someone tries to get in really. just to (hopefully) put them off in a public place or outside my house
