While I have had a few fords since starting to drive 5 years ago.. the majority of my cars have been Rovers.. Now while I have had some good cars, I decided I wanted to move over to Ford and stay there.
Was going to buy a xr4i, but couldnt find a good one within my budget. Then a 4x4 sierra but decided to go a bit more modern and get a ST24...
I am Sooooooooooooo glad I did. I got my V6 I wanted, with the refinements that I am used to from my Alfa, and great tuning ability. There are loads of Shows to go to which was one of the main reasons I came over to Ford from Rover. (Although I still admin a rover site)
I only Paid £1200 for my ST24 and really really love it.. The other half is getting a rs2000 this weekend hopefully as he wants something different to me. He has had loads of fords... and we are saving for a mk1 escort between us..
My other fords have been a mk4 xr3i cabriolet..that got written off by a blind truck driver, a TD escort, and a series 1 mk3 cabriolet..
Most of my rovers have been 1.8 metros, which for those of you that know the Reylands metro go rather well..
although I had mine 2 years before the reylands metro..
We are also bikers, so have the blade for when we really feel the need for speed...
anyway, looking forward to trying the ST at Donnington as soon as funds will allow for a track day.
