5995 miles and mine needed 2 fronts!!! Anyonelse suffer from this?? Its done 7890 miles now and has been on the road for a 1 month and 3 weeks!! Still a good car even with all the probs!! Thought i'd put a thread up as its gone a bit quite on here

 

mines was the same m8,had 2 change mines 4 weeks ago at 6k . . .and only done 40 odd miles since

 

1100 miles from new the front left lasted

fooooooooking nail in the sidewall

 

I've had a full set all round, 2 punctures, one blow out and a couple ragged to death aswell!

 

I have just had to have 2 new fronts at 11800 miles, which as I have never really owned a car which eats tyres like this it was surprising

 

anyone got any idea what the best offset is for tyres on escort cossy rims for my XR2I for the least amount of rubbing a few people have said that i should get stretched tyres on it what do you think ?

I got 26k from the front tyres on my Mondeo ST TDCi. They were 225/40ZR18 Conti SC2. Think that they were on the rear aswell.

got about 6000 on goodyear f1s,yokahama prada 2s been on for 12000 and still loads of tread.
