Default Imrc issue

Two refurbed imrc units 2nd one with upgraded parts, new dsi clip, visual done on wires leading to fuse box, The problem is as follows,,
turn key and cable pulls back, turn engine off cable releases, issue is it doesn’t release at 5,6k revs. Could this be a build up of gunk on the inlet manifold? I’m waiting for some spray cleaner to arrive that doesn’t require you to strip the manifold, what else could I be looking at checking? Please help this is a pain . Thanks

Thats not going to confirm if the manifold is gunked up or not, and if it is, its going to do a half arsed job. If you want to rule things out, its worth doing properly. Even if not route cause, theres likely going to be build up to remove regardless which will only benefit.
