Default St 170 future classic

What are peoples thoughts on these becoming a future classic do you think the prices will rise as low mileage mint examples are quite hard to come buy lots of high mileage rough ones about.

theres plenty around and most are tired thrashed examples as I break them all the time and owned by kids/chavs who refer to them as a beaST , all fords will rise and good 170s are fetching decent money right now, 3dr model with the comfort & custom packs is cream of the crop and also those of a rare colour like capri & navy blue, with optional rare items like ESP braking, sunroof, sat nav, parking sensors the collectors market beckons

Even though my st has 'highmiles', it has the comfort and custom pack with sunroof. No esp braking or parking sensor though (sad face).
Worth keeping and restoring I think (happy face)

I think they will. Also very early, mint and low miles CL/LX models will probably rise too.

ford dealership mine was registered at in essex wanted it back and offered me £3k last winter then just 2 months ago a private collector in southend offered 3.5 so I will hang onto my main one for a bit longer and a I picked up a capri blue 3dr a couple of weeks back to plod around in

shed loads lol, magnum grey is most common colour followed by black then silver, imperial blue, the rarest colours were capri/print blues it was produced on mass and had to be tens of thousands but the numbers are taking massive nose dives now and good examples are thin on the ground, estate versions were meant to be under a 1000 with around 150 still knocking around, owners running them without decent maintenance simply break them for parts when clutch or imrc fails plus rust is now a issue
