Hi all I have been playing around with my gem module in my st170 to activate some of the extra features,
but couldnt find much info online so i have wrote a tutorial....

2, you need to register>>>>>> http://forscan.org/forum/ (registration takes about 24 hours to be approved


3, download this>>>>>> http://forscan.org/download.html ( FORscan version 2.3.7 beta for windows)


4, apply for an extended license here>>>>> http://forscan.org/forum/extlic.php (you can’t apply for extended license until you have been approved in step 2)

5, plug your ELM327 into your laptop and windows will install the driver if it doesn’t go to windows updates it will find the driver there.

To enable some of the features you must have the later gem 3S7T 15K600 MC

Its been tested on windows 7 and windows 10

Very cool, I may have ago just to remove the seat alarm when I am driving around the yard at work.

 

Got my dongle through the post today. I just need some time to play with it now.
