I was wondering if anyone knew where the lower front spoiler could be sourced or if it was a ford item etc.
Need a replacement for my car..

Seems that it's a ford item. The kit was fitted to the hundred odd st170s that were sold in Aus..

Course to find one now is the bigger issue..

 

not something that was ever fitted on euro or american svt/170s

 

Was an option on European markets, obviously not on the American as they've bigger bumpers. May well be something like an MS Designs kit that was offered through ford like the kit on my Focus back in Ireland..

 

being in england =eurpoean well at least until brexit is completed, I have the dealer option full list in front of me and nowhere does it show this nor have I even seen it on any uk model even retro fitted and I have broken for spares more of these than more people have ever seen in their life but my guess is its a aftermarket kit fitted for pre face lift focus models and not the 170

 

It was fitted to every single ST170 that was imported into Aus. I already mentioned that it could be an MS Designs kit. The kit fitted to my black focus pictured is the pre facelift MS Designs offering that was available as a dealer option.
I know while I was working at ford that there was a kit offered (that differed from the pre face lift) for the facelift model in the MS Designs catalogue, but I haven't been able to find any trace of it online.
For some reason I can only find the catalogue from ford that offers the collection bumper. But the same catalogue offers the ms design kit for the estate (alas only with pics of the rear and side skirts).


England will still be in Europe whenever brexit is finalised.. They're not digging up the country and moving it out the Atlantic on its own.. 😂 It just won't be part of the E.C. or the EU.. So you'll still get the same cars.

 

It's even fitted to the st170 pictured on the fordpartsuk site! 😂

Obviously I don't know if that's an official site, I doubt it.. But anyways. 😉
