Default Had the car on the rollers

Took the Focus for a rolling road diagnostic because its running a bit poor. Turns out its the lambda heater circuit thats causing it so its been booked in to have that sorted. Tbh though i was happy with the power the car is putting out considering its mileage etc. There are 2 noticeable flat spots and a smaller one which i will get sorted with a remap when i have a couple of other things done

Any way here are the results

Is that standard?
Ours in on similar mileage and has a few noticable flatspots. The reading is fair imho, if not a little disappointing. Unless you had a run from almost new to compare its hard to know if thats mileage or just what it was putting out, a few years ago early ones were doing little more than 150hp! A guy on ffoc i think spent a fortune on his pulleys, remap etc... to only gain something like 1.7hp over standard quoted figures.

Above all else the remap makes them more lively and driveable by all accounts.

Sounds about right for an st170. Lambda sensors are easy to replace, they both went on mine at a similar mileage.

Ive replaced the sensor already but its the heater circuit thats the issue :/ break in the wires somewhere.

The car has a scorpion cat back and a k & n filter so its pretty much standard. I dont want massive power gains, just want a nicer driving car. Not going to pour massive money into it. Will pedley has done some amazing things with a 170 and cat cams do a decent upgrade but it means after market ecus etc and i dont want to do anything to serious
