hi ,,newbie here,lol,,,,,,,,,,i have a 2002 focus,1600cc 60,000 on clock,,,but just lately its struggling in 1st and 2nd gear,,,3rd and 4th normal,,,the speedo worked then stopped,windows been trouble too,,,took the battery off, then trie it after that,,,as i was told this might correct the electrics,,,the speedo works now,,,but still problem with power upto 3rd gear,,and offside window still not working,,,any ideas or help, most welcome,,,,brain like a brick when it come to anything auto,.lol ,,,,thanks in advance

 

Speedo was a common problem on these. Used to cut in and out and work when ever they wanted. No real solution to this apart from a new set of clocks. What's it actually doing in 1st, 2nd, 3rd...?

 

thanks matty for reply,,,,,,,,,,,,,its dead slow starting off,and crawls upto 2nd,then if the gas pedal is pumped its not to bad, but when it its 3rd or 4th,,,no problem,,,its only in 1st and 2nd,,,there is a slight whinning noise(like its trying its best),buit just not enough,.lol..then as i say once its in 3rd its like a dream,,,,,
