ST170 Set up
I was wondering if anyone had a set up guide for an 02 Focus ST170...
I have just had new Toyot tyres fitted at the Ford garage where I work, I also had them do tracking and alignment, and I am 100% happy with the way the car handles.
But as well as planning a few other mods i.e clutch n flywheel, I would also like to work on the suspension.. i.e. bushes, ride height etc...
Any advice would be nice..

Hi mate, we've done a fair amount of work to ours in different stages https://www.facebook.com/pages/AJ-Ra...6629763?ref=hl
but straight away get a Helix Autosport Light weight flywheel and clutch adn pressure plate kit, they even sent you a sachs release bearing as well we put in ARP flywheel bolts in as a piece of mind, whiteline anti roll bars and bushes are a good way and look for a decent suspension setup, if you got fixed dampers bilstines are a good match for the car, sprintline kit is a good way to go.
if you go the (coilover) route then get your car bushed adn sorted first before you get it corner weighted and setup properly you may need camber adjustability for the rear.fronts you should be ok, just some castor and that'll sort ya negative camber out when cornering.
competition tract rod ends but you'll have to drill the uprights ever so slightly as they have a bevel on them for the standard track rod ends and a good steering wheel but the st stuff is good just depends how far you want to go.
215 40 17 profile tyre and use a syron tyre, (tyre traders stock em) good tyre and get some track tuition as well just so you adn the car can become one,
