Having now taken ownership of my brothers ST170, I am wanting to swap out the 6CD changer for a single DIN.

I have swapped it all around with the relevant facia panel, wiring etc. The only issue I have is, the car has a factory fitted subwoofer in the boot. With the conversion fitted, it now no longer functions. The CD player fitted does have the two red and white phono leads for a sub, but obviously the factory wiring is all spliced into the one block connector.

Has anyone encountered this, or anyone got a solution? I don't want to really start hacking the wiring about.
