Whats people views on them?

Anyone got one yet or driven one?

Seen them in the showroom yesterday as was having my ST3 serviced, cant work out if i prefer them or not as was thinking of changing mine for the new one?

They drive really well. Feels lighter, more nimble and quicker than the 'old' ST. If I was in the market for one I wouldn't hesitate.

 

cool cheers for that, think i may book a test drive, did read its not got the same engine sound, but they have directed the sound back into the cabin on this one so makes it sound nice above 3.5rpm

Not at all, the reason is because it's a Ford 4 pot engine (Ecoboost)

To that end it doesn't appeal to me, the MK2 FRS and ST are ok because of the lovely 5 pot Volvo engine.

It plays fake engine noises into the cabin to increase your driving experience!! Get real, the new ST is a joke

 

genuine surround sound of engine noises like your really on the track. i wonder if these could be changed for your own sounds.....

yeah just OBD in to the car and change to some tractor sounds

 

Ford must have known the new ST couldnt cut it to have to pull a stunt like that
Stick a propper engine in it

 

don't like the new shape anyway, it looks pants....

so its a fitting tribute to put a shite engine in it.

Looks shit in orange in the flesh. Rear lights look like a cheap Korean car add on. Cunts in the eu have killed the 5 pot off.
Doesn't look aggressive enough like the pre facelift st.

But the interior is proper nice! I'd still buy one if I could but in white.

Styling is an improvement over the first St and deffo an improvement over the facelift st..
More pointy looking.. Just a shame it's only 5 door.

Evo mag test drove one in this months issue and put it up against the new VXR on track, they didn't much to it I don't think and the VXR walked all over it on track
