Default focus rs conversion on st 170

hi looking at fitting a rs engine to to st 170 is there allot of work involved wat parts do i need to do it just trying to get an idea of pricing and wats involved . thanks

by the time you go and buy all the parts you need mate your better off selling your st and buying a rs i just sold my 170 and bought a mint mk1 rs 65k fsh 1 owner running @260 on a 03 plate and paid £7.500

If you can get a smashed rs that would prob work out best. You would need TDCI shafts if your using them on standard hubs. As far as im aware you will need all engine, box, looms and ECU. Not sure if you can just use the engine loom or not.

it would be cheaper to turbo your engine than buying a full rs conversion.
