Im after a st170 gsxr itb setup for my 1.6 zetec, can anyone build me one?
I dont have the time to do it so has someone got one for sale or have experience building one?

 

The ST170 GSXR ITB setup uses the first part of the ST170 plastic inlet manfold, this will not fit the 1.6 engine so this setup will no work

 

ah.. so is it for the 1.8/2.0 engine only then?

 

Basically the 2.0L ST170 has a plastic inlet manifold that is in two parts, the part that bolts to the head has silicone hoses on that is perfect for sticking some bike bodies onto. The ST170 manifold will not fit your 1.6 head so to do the conversion you will have to find a suitable way of mounting the bodies to your head. The 1.6 engines are very restrictive so the best thing you could do is up the capacity and buy a bigger engined focus.

 

it will fit a zetec 1600 but not a zetec se 1600. which engine or car do you have?

ermmm not sure.. its the same engine as the zetec s in the fiesta .. but il double check

 

is your exhaust manifold on the front or back of the engine?

 

it will bolt to the head but ports wont line up as there is a 5mm difference in port height

 

just had a check and its not the se engine it just says zetec-s

is there anyway to get the port to line up or will i have to use jenvey bodies?

 

thats a zetec se engine. you can get a specific manifold for it. contact bogg bross or look on zetec s fiesta website.
