st170 owners are the drop links metal or alloy ?
hi all im looking to change the drop links on my st170 but looking on ebay and they do metal ones and alloy ones which ones do they use ?
just thought id ask before i buy them

Metal ones where fitted as standard, they are over £50 each from ford!!!
I had the alloy ones on my ST170 but they are gash, changed them soon after fitting, there was no lug to hold the thread when tightening them up which made it impossible.
It is the length that is important. One time I ended up with 300mm ones that would not fit, you need the shorter versions
