The k&n induction kit i put on my ST170 made it slower so it only lasted a week or so 
and changed to a panel filter instead 
A de-cat or sports cat, full exhaust and bluefin or dreamscience would be best for performance

Pipercross vipers work quite well. but a panel filter is good enough. either that or keep paper filter and remove the resonator box, get a little bit more air in, sounds nice to and best of all costs nothing

How did u measure the relative slowness with or without K+N induction kit?
