hi rich very cheap for what they are, e.mail me , you will be astounded, only problem is that this is the only one i have until jan/feb, i only bought one to check the quality and packaging, kicking myself now because there was 10 on offer at the time. we are more interested in the jap bonnets that are coming but if theres a market for the focus then we have a good quality supplier, what do you think ? we dont know the focus market, i always thought carbon bonnets were more of a jap car thang, btw this ones not for sale , we will use it as a demo, are you going to donington on sunday ? is rob trading ? cheers nomad

They look ok from the pictures you've posted but I haven't seen any close ups etc.

As I've mentioned before there are a lot of companies making carbon parts and as with most things in life you often get what you pay for. Now I'm not saying this is the case here but a few key factors to look for are:

Rolled edges
Latch and how it's fixed
Hinge mounting inserts and how they're fixed
Resin type
Carbon weave type
underside fit & finish

Another option is to use carbon kevlar, a superior material to just carbon as it's lighter and stronger:

Regards,

Jeff

they go from $300 usd to $700 here in the states... depending on what quality you get. It's the shipping that'll kill ya. From california to central us is $150usd freight. sheesh.

Not keen on it myself either Ruth, but on the right car (ie not a black one) it looks great

I sell them for the Focus, and have found they retail for around Ł579, but I can sell them cheaper and perhaps more so for a group buy, I have one currently for sale on Ebay at the mo at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MESE%3AIT&rd=1 if you're interested in purchasing one at any time in the future please feel free to PM me.
