Default blown focus???

i've recently got myself a 3 year old focus, i've done the usual mods, exhaust, filter, bluefin, etc, but as the engine has done nearly 80k i'd like to get it re-built soon as the rest of the car is mint. how much of a pain in the arse is a turbo conversion? i've seen a couple in mags, but i've got no other info. any ideas?

i wanna try and do it myself if i can, i'm too much of a tight arse to go spending thousands. I've been told that a 2wd saff turbo and a fiesta rst inlet are needed but what about management?

My 1.8i has done almost 80k and pulls just as well as new. I don't think you need to be that drastic and have it rebuilt unless your going to upgrade the internals.

Turbo sounds and if you save up a bit more then get a supercharger as well

He means "save a bit more" as in save a fucking shitload more. Turbo will suffice nicely on it's on. If Ian Howell doesn't need both on his monster, neither will you. There was a company that did a drive in drive out low pressure turbo conversion for under £2k a few years back (may have been PE). To do it right will cost a fair wedge of cash.

Before building make sure you can insure it.
