Default bonnet pod????

hi there, ive seen (a while ago) a focus with a bonnet lamp pod set up on it, it was a mercury grey sort of colour with graphics on it. i was wondering if the person who owns it is on here, or if there is anyone on here that knows about bonnet pods at all? i only ask as im looking into fitting one to my car (not a focus by the way!) and im a little bit stuck, im after a little bit of help and guidence as to how it should be wired and fitted really. any help on the subject would be great, cheers!

What pod have you got ? Some have different fitting kits available, but nearly all will require you to drill the bonnet and fit captive nuts to the underside.

Wiring is done by making a loom with relays, sockets and then splicing into the original loom unless you want to fit seperate on/off switches etc.

Was using mine last weekend.

may be a silly question but, ive seen some lamps with the equivilent of a side light in them aswell as the spot, are these mreadfily avaliable or just custom made, or poo????

also does all the releavant wiring and relays come with the lamps???

Generally no - its seperate.

Piaa do a fitting kit and also have bulbs that do dim dip, not sure about side lights though, but fitting a LED inside dosn't sound too difficult.

Try the Piaa website maybe ?

cheers for that, i dont suppose that theres any chance of you posting some moore pictures, including close ups, the way youve fitted your actual spots and the underside of the bonnet so that i can show the body shop exactly what im after!

aslong as they light up and give off a decent amount of light, i dont mind!
