Has anybody had there ST170 chipped by motorsport developments in blackpool? if so could you please tell me what gains you got.
Or if somebody could recommend other chips for the ST170 would be much appreciated

 

Didn't think they could chip (or for this ecu reflash) it at the moment because it's the new Black Oak ecu. Any one know any different?

 

There is a uni chip that works on them and a few people have had them fitted really like them. Personally I would go for the Bluefin, if you just wanted the car chipped.

Over here the ST (called SVT) has 2 variations of the bluefin available - the Diablo Predator and the X-Calibrator. Both see gains of around 5-6bhp but alot more throughout the rev range and they take away the stumbling rpm and slow pick up in first gear. Soon as I get some cash I'm having mine done.

 

A friend of mine has a bluefin in his st focus, and its a beast, sounds the absolute tits and definatly feels stronger.

 

Got the Bluefin for mine a while back. Definately the way to go.
