Mk 2 focus RS abs wiring
Hi, I'm looking to see if someone can point me in the right direction. I have a intermitant problem whith my right front speed sensor and am aware it's commonly a brake in the wire, but does anyone know we're it normally brakes and is there a new loom to repair this. Thanks

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Not sure on the Focus, but on the astra and vectra it was always near the arch liner and shown signs of rubbing.
I would start off by looking at the wire visually for signs of rubbing etc. As the multiplug if in a bad place to get to it would be worth checking continuity from the wheel end of the sensor loom and work back.

Well had time to look today. I must say the route of the wiring is very poor, when the vehicle is on full lock it pulls the wiring bow string tight. I re routed the wires and all is fine. There are no obvious breaks and will see if the problem has gone for good. I know there are new wires available from ford at about £18 a side, but are they modified or the same. As I see that this is a common problem.
