Default Retro fitting Sony CD player - possible?

Hi All

I'm soon to be acquiring a 2005 Focus which comes with the standard CD6000 system.

I know the following Sony system:

was an optional extra on the Focus, but does anyone know whether I can just purchase one of these units and do a direct swap for the unit that's in mine?

If it is possible, what tools would I need?

Thanks for the help!

it should go in but you would need to change the suround as this unit is curved and the other one has straight sides
