Default ST170 headers AGAIN AND AGAIN

Hi. I'm getting St170 headers for my 1.8 blacktop.I'll decat the car as i have the opportunity but i don't know what is the best configuration for the "catback" two resonators or keep the middle silencer and dump the last one ...I really don't know what's the magic combination. As far as i know you guys here got lot of experience with this modification. I'm aware that the gains won't be tremendous but as far as it is my daily-driver I don't wanna go the turbo route or the SUPER MEGA GIGA N/A tuning. I'm after the pleasure effect of 150hp and the exhaust is my first step. So what's best for the catback? As a clue i can say that Davemurphy007's Focus 1.8 is the perfect one for me cheers Dave or whatever your name is man

Crikey, wasn't expecting those compliments! Thanks very much. I'm assuming you've seen my YouTube bids to know what my car sounds like. At the time I was running a 4-2-1 manifold (similar to the ST170 manifold but not as good) which dictated the car, a standard flexi-pipe and a custom stainless steel exhaust which had a single middle box and a 4" outwardly rolled tailpipe (it's a Ford - it has to be outwardly rolled).

I hope this helps bud, best of luck.

Hi mate thanks for the fast answer. I've desided to combine the ST170 headers with 60mm piping with single middle box as you suggested and a cherry bomb muffler. What did you mean ....(it's a Ford - it has to be outwardly rolled)
