Default Focus 1.4 05 RE-MAP help

Hi all newbie here so would like some advice if i may..
I have an 05 Focus ST replica that looks spot on (PIctures to be added in due course).
Anyway the only downside to this is it's a 1.4 so really slow as you can imagine.
I have trawled the net for weeks looking for answers of how to add a little extra bhp but haven't really found anything so im asking you if anyone can help..
I did wonder about re-mapping the ecu and de-cat but im open for ideas..
Thanks Nick

Two options IMO do nothing to the engine or swap the engine for something bigger.

By the time you have spend a grand on it, it will probably still be slower than the 1.6!

Usual route is cam, exhaust, air filter etc, but money wise as said stick a 2L in to start with.

As said I really wouldn't bother, you will gain next to nothing for your outlay and even with cam etc I doubt if your make the power of a 1.6 even, if wanting to go faster I would go for another engine such as the said 2L.
