Default Help on my wheel offset please

Hello to everyone, i'm new on this site and was after some help i've got a 2000 mk1 5dr 1.6 focus i've recently driven over one of britains finiest potholes only to realise it's bent 1 of my 17's and is making the tyre bulge out and quite dangerous so i decided to just buy 4 new alloys and tyres i've looked everyone on the net for the offset i should have but have found so many varied answers please could someone help me as to what offset i need my car is lowered 50mm and have the arches rolled so i don't experience any rubbing whatsoever if that helps. Many Thanks Rhys

Should be minimum ET42 to keep the good handling and to not knacker the wheel bearings, ET49 is the best.

As above. Anything with an offset of ET42 or higher will be fine.

Avoid anything wider than 7.5" and get 215 width tyres. Either 40 or 45 profile will be fine.
