Hi guys,

I am new on the forum so thought i'd say hi first. Recently got myself a 2.0 TDCi 06 Focus replacing my Renaultsport Clio Trophy, with a view to a mk2 RS in the next few months; but the TDCi will do me for now.

I do have a small issue with the car though and wondered if anyone might be able to help. Sometimes on the motorway around 2k rpm the car judders a bit as if losing power in short, sharp burts for a second or two but then is ok.

99.9% of the time the car is fine, but occasionally does this. Mechanically all seems spot-on, the problem seems distinctly electrical, as the turbo spools up lovely virtually all of the time, but occasionally after the car has juddered if feels sluggish to respond, but then half a mile later it'll be absolutely fine.

Recently i decided to stick in some premium diesel instead of regular stuff, and bought a bottle of Redex injector cleaner, of which i have used half the bottle up until now. However, i put in regular fuel yesterday and now it seems to have gone a bit worse again. In the week i had better fuel in it hardly missed a beat.

Wondered if anyone had any experience of this or what it could possibly be?
