St170 Brakes Question
Hi, I'm thinking of improving the brakes on my st170. I want to keep it fairly simple (i.e same mounts and stuff)
Im going to install braided hoses but what are the best discs (standard size) and pads available that don't cost £million?
Thanks in advance

i found a guy on fleabay that will sell me red stuff pads and ebc turbo groove discs for £150 delivered all brand new and for the st170.
the discs were on a make best offer which came to £110.
thats what i'm going to go for but i can't comment on the performance, but i'm willing to bet that it would be a noticable difference/improvement.
pm me if you want his info.

The ebc redstuff ceramic are excellent, the discs are a lot better than they used to be, with the braided lines as well, there will be a massive improvement, the grooves constantly deglaze the pads surface, so wear a little bit faster, still get at least 30,000 miles though,
I have used redstuff ceramic myself, they are a bit dusty, so wheels dirty quicker with brake dust than some others, but they are full of feel unlike a lot of others.

Thanks for the advice. Whats your opinion on the difference between redstuff and greenstuff. I need the brakes to be slightly forgiving for town driving.
or is the redstuff still ok for stop go driving?
