Well i decided to create a progress thread so i can stop making new ones and have it all in one place...


And it will give you all something to have a look over..

I bought it in Nov 2008. It was already on Spax RSX coilovers and had a Pipercross Viper induction kit.













Once i got it home i started having ideas for it...

Got hold of some Sparco Buckets and harnesses off ebay



And as soon as the custom Sparco subframes arrived from italy they were in




After a few months of driving it (for me and about 2 years before me) on of the rear shocks went which killed both rear springs (i think they were on the way out anyway)



Then im sure we have all had it.......Multistory carpark (being slammed on coilovers its not a common resting ground for my car) someone backed into the front of my car... And after a few months managed to get a new front bumper, foglight, indicator lense, grille and front deflector. (minor damage im sure you will agree but i was very pissed off considering i was sitting in the car at the time)



I then got hold of some genuine morette front lights for a mk1.5 so the sparky in me got to work converting the looms







Picked up some strut braces from the bay (pretty cheap as well)










Along came the stripe.... (to cover a nasty bit of lacquer lift on the bonnet....just in time for ford fair)

Ok next update...


I got a blue light conversion, plasma dials and custom gauge +surround off of ebay








and with it all fitted...






And now some carbon fibre.....









Once all the CF is in ill get some more pics up

Ok all the carbon Fibre is now in. I was waiting on a hot glue gun and it finally arrived so all is done!

Looks nice mate, a bit of colour coding would look good! Not keen on the front plate really, maybe a small standard shape one would be better like i had on my old st170?
