Default Lumpy idle

Greetings all.

Picked up a 2001 2.0 Zetec Estate and been doing quite a bit to it to drag it back to a reasonable state and so far so good. Runs really well now but still cursed by lumpy idle when A/C is off. Not really a problem, just annoying.

Idle control valve seems to be placed in a tricky spot so before I try tackling that any other thoughts on possible cause?

S.

More than likely idle valve! You can try cleaning it with carb cleaner but I would just be replacing it!
