Be careful dont know what kind of crank shaft pulley is on ST 170 (solid or rubber mounted) but know the newer stlye transits have been getting converted from dual mass to soild and has been cases where the bottom ends have gone out of them as the crank shaft pulley aint been changed to a non solid item (vibration damper)...... best check it out first

The clutchmasters kits from CFM in the states are decent kits to have but if you are after a Uk version you can get lite steel fly, sprung 6 paddle clutch, slave and plate for £1000 from Helix or you can get a lite steel fly, sprung clutch plate and slave from TTV for £600.
You cant just change the fly as your losing the "sprung" element of the duel mass fly so you have to replace the lot this time with a sprung clutch.

Hi, try a ttv racing solid/lightened flywheel from demon tweeks. costs around 330 delivered. Put one on mine and pick-up from low revs much improved - a little more transmission noise but if you want quiet buy a lexus ? Wife drives it daily so no issues with driveability. I would think it's heavier than the items from the states but much lighter than the dual mass - good compromise for the road. Running it with a standard clutch.
