Need some advice please.
I have a focus RS cylinder head, well at least i was told its a focus RS one. I compaired it to my 2.0l focus zetec one and the the timing belt idler pulley is slightly larger and further apart from the tentioner, then the normal 2.0l one.
Is this right? As then that means the upper timing belt cover is also different for the RS seening as though the larger pulley will not fit due to the obstruction of the case.
Also, is there any way of checking if this is deffo a focus RS head?
Thanks in advance.

I would think the best way to check the part number with the ford finis number 1216710. From what i have read in the past it's only the valves and springs that differ in the RS head. The cambelt covers are identical on the 1.8, 2.0 & RS. Once the belt is fitted wouldn't the pully be pulled in once tensioned?

Thats what i thought, there shuldnt be any diference.
Its not the tentioner but the idler pulley.
Is there anywhere it shows the finis or any markings on the cylinder head?
