Hello Everyone,

I am thinking of installing front and rear bumper from a Focus RS to a normal version. I don’t want to make a replica so the arches stay normal. Can I fit those bumpers what would need to be changed with them?

Would well appreciate the help...

Matt

The bumpers are about 1.5inch bigger each side so it would be a lot of messing but anything is possible..

I heard and seen people make right muck ups. I would suggest if you are going to do it then go to a professional bodyshop.

You will need new front wings and 2 back quarters that are no longer available from Ford.

I got a front and rear bumper brand new in the bag for £60 after someone tried to do this before and persuaded an insurance company bodyshop to get them for him after an accident!

its not that pathetic relly , that works out about £430 ,

ford will charge you £380 for a wing . . and there is alot more to a quart than a wing . .

Yeah but the rear quarter is not exaclty a plug and play item/prepped item like the wing.

What about something as big as a quarter panel? I do agree though, shipping is not that bad. I have sent parts over to Germany for a US spec focus for someone in the Army and it was pretty cheap. I was shocked really. I have heard horror stories with large items getting held up in customs though. :/ Mainly when my buddy was getting some Sierra Cosworth wheels for his Focus in the states. Turns out he had to get power of attorney and all of this other garbage. He did eventually get them though.

and a wing is?

both parts neew primed and painting ,

i wasnt on about the work done at the body shop , and to be honist do you thing the people making these items are worryed about that . . , all i was saying that for the size of material used and the bigger press used , the price is not relly that bad considering there is only £50 in it to us over here in the UK

it still cant belevie you cant get these parts form a supplyer in europe , and they have to be bought state side ford! , what happened to making bittys 15 years after the end build date!

The RS wing available is already painted in Imperial Blue and ready to be slapped on. At least the ones over here are. Turns out that the rear center LED brake light is like 100 bucks. WTF.

I gotcha man. It is ass backwards if you ask me.

Sweet. Yeah I see now. I can't believe you guys would pay such a low price for those items. A standard width, regular old quarter would cost more than that over here in the states.
