Default Focus rs emission proplems!!!

Focus rs emission proplems, just took to mot today everything good untill got to do the emissions test, usually when it fails on the emissions i put fuel cleaner through it and take it for a run and that normally sorts it,this one though is way out on the carbon monoxide content, does anyone know what this could be to sort it,one thing is ive only just bought it and there is a receipt in there for a new air cleaner assembly which was put on there a few days ago, could this be anything to do with it?
Any help would be greatful!
Thanks
gavin

was it hot when they tested it?? did they do the full cat test or was it a quick test??
if its only the c.o thats out could point to the cat being shot!!
but i would expect the eml light to be on.
anyother questions pm me

Is it absolutely standard or has the PCM been flashed?

Done a delta temperature test on the cat ? Though as MATT222 says I'd expect the MIL to be on as it illuminates if anything coughs.
