would the RS Focus Bumper fit a Mk1 ST170 Focus

A mate of mine, wants to know.

I know the wings on the RS are bigger, but how would it look with standard wings?

The bumper will be too wide at the arches

 

As with most things it can be made to fit but only with custom modification & adapting to line up with the standard ST170 (non widened arches)

If he wants to fit the bumper he'd be better off also fitting FRS front arches

 

....and then FRS rear arches so it doesn't look stupid being wide at the front but not at the rear.......

........and then you'll need a Focus RS rear bumper to stop it looking stupid at the back end with RS rear arches but a standard bumper.

...And while you're at it, RS skirts as well.

And then you've got a full blown RS replica project on your hands. Don't bother.
