Default Intermitently faulty intermitent wipers

I've got a problem on my 02 ST170. The wipers wont park properly when i turn them off. and when I push for a single wipe they stop as soon as I let go of the stalk, regardless of where they are. Got a feeling it's a problem with the stalk? Anyone had this problem? Wipers are the variable intermittent type.

I would check the relay. (It is behind the glove box )

There is 2 relays beside each other. One for the front, one for the rear. You should be able to change them over to see if that is the problem.....

I think they are about £5 ......finis is 4392931 IIRC
