I recently got ahold of some new wheels.
7,5x17 et37.
They're going on a MK1 Focus with a 40mm drop.
Do I need to fit 205 tyres or can I use 215 (or even bigger) without rubbing?

Don't see a problem with them rubbing to be honest. Mine on the black one were 8x17 ET45 (so further in the arch) lowered 50mm on 215/40/17 and they didn't rub. So higer suspension on wider offset you shouldn't see problems.

 

m8 i got rs focus rims (8x18) on my foci, lowerd 50mm, and it dosnt rub with 215s, tap the lip on the rear arches with a rubber block and a soft rubber mallet. if ur rims catch slightly but i dont think they would
