Default Focus Help with Wheels

Basically i have an st170 and i absoutley hate my wheels

I have been looking at 4 different options

1. Some RS wheels which i need 215/35/18 tyres for i believe ... is this true?

2. Paint my 170 wheels Black for the time being?

3. Escort Cosworth wheels??? ... will these work due to the offset or will the handling be awful?

4. Save for a bit longer and get some comps in 18?

I really like the idea of the Escort Cosworth wheels to see how they will look but what tyres ... i dont do track days yet but will the handling be really bad round town?

any advice would be ace

With the Escos wheels being ET15 they will stick out by the arches by miles!

I reckon cossie wheels would look ace on the focus!

You see some saphs with them on and they stick out slightly from the arches (technically illegal) but looks so good!

If you get them on, remember to get some pics up!

So you will be going from 17"down to a 16 " be sure the brakes clear as the ST has a large front disc remember.

I would save the pennies and go for some comps when you have the wonga or a set of OZ ultraleggas 18x7

just my thoughts

Part of me thinks yes as they look different but the other part of me thinks no - I think the escos wheels would stick out a fair bit though because of the offset Duncan (the FRS registrar on the RSOC) trial fitted a set of escos offset superleggeras on his FRS one weekend for a laugh and they stuck out loads and that was on the FRS wider arches - will be worse on the st170 arches i'd imagine

Mind you, you could probably get away with the escos rims on the track couldnt you
