Just recently purchased a focus rs and im looking to put an exhaust on it to free up a few ponies, however i dont want it to be loud at all.. is it possible to get a performance exhaust thats not loud but gives good performance upgrade?

Mongoose 4.5 slash cut tail exhausts aren't very loud, just a nice burble out the back end, nothing excessive though.

 

i have a Blueflame exhaust on mine with a decat....sounds AWESOME on idle and when on full chat...but when just chilling and cruising around, the exhaust can just about be heard!

i got a blue flame onmine with a decat and it sounds awesome. wen taking ur time its a pleasure to hear not a stupid drone. my brother had a mongoose on his and the note was the same. apparently mongoose and blueflame were the same company for a while. do yourself a favcur and get a full zorst system. u can hear the turbo better with the decat and it boosts more and the power increase is defo noticeable. hope i sway you to make the right decision.

 

had a mongoose on my first rs and a scorpion on the second. both imo ver good though. i melted the bumper with the mongoose 4inch out rolled quite alot while throwing it around on track days! never had this with the smaller scorpion exit. cant go wrong with either imo.
