i had my focus rs out for a blast yesterday it always boosts up to 1 bar and stays there but now its boosting into the red past 1.5 bar ive checked the hoses going to the actuator to the amal valve back onto the turbo etc and i cant see anything its not chipped just an exhaust filter thats it the turbo was new on 1k ago im stuck on what it is i dont really want to drive the car now incase it decides to blow up

 

it maybe becoz the air temperature has dropped now so you should be seeing more boost. wouldn't realy rely on the standard boost gauge too much. get it checked by an tuner if your still not happy.

 

i have a second boost gauge in the car so i know its accurate when i drive for any length of time it will only boost up to half a bar and wont go past the half bar but that only happens when im outta town im puzzled to what this could be its really hacking me off
