Hi, I have built 2 focus' 1ST and 1RS. I am having difficulty in getting the correct weights for the VIN plates. The weights I need are:-

gross vehicle mass
gross train mass
maximum permissible front axel mass
maximum permissible rear axel mass

I have tried Ford parts and they say they have to have the VIN no in order for them to order the plates but I want to get stainless steel plates from a guy on E Bay who makes them.

Please if anyone can help it would be much appreciated (I have spent over £20.00 in phone calls to the Ford technical helpline!!!)

Surely someone could look under their bonnet and tell me the weights.It's all in kg's.Come on help me out PLEASE.

 

Ask/look over on the RS owners club and you should get help there.
