focus rs owners i have had my 53 plate frs up for sale couple of weeks now and all i am getting is stupid offers like,will 11k buy your focus bearing in mind its got 15k on the clock and full service history and is in mint condition.

i would just like to no if i am askin too much at £14400 ono

what are your opinions please its in the cars for sale on here.....

 

the thing is...the car is only worth what people are willing to pay for it...

if i were you, if there is no genuine interest within the week or 2, drop the price to 13995 as you may POSSIBLY be scaring people off with the 14k price tag...IMO i would not really pay more than 14k purely based on the fact that i picked mine up for 13k and that had 19200 on the clock, just been serviced, all road taxes, FFSH, lots of history etc etc...but that is a personal opinion

however, when i was looking, i didnt mind paying extra if i knew the car was EXTRA EXTRA mint - i.e near on concours! but not everyone is like me

i REALLY wanted to buy the one with 3k on the clock and he only wanted 16k IIRC so i always try to value according to that...

Its just the market at the mo i'm afraid bud - its a buyers market at the mo on these cars and residuals have been falling a bit recently The main reason is the majority of cars are outside of warranty now, etc, and regardless of mods, service history, etc prices seem to be fluctuating between £11k & £14k Quite a few cars are still on finance, etc, and you'll find some people selling cheap to move the car on the clear the finance, etc, which also lowers the prices As Bassboy says drop the price to £13995 as may open the car to more peeps

 

i would say 11k is a fair price...

I would keep the car a bit longer mate all RSs go through a bad patch, lets see what they are worth in a few years time when people are wanting a virtually hand built one off limited edition car, they will be kicking your garage door off its hinges and offering silly money

now look at finding a mint example with low miles and your paying close to 18-19k.

 

Prices in the last few weeks seem to be on the up. 30k milers seem to be getting 13.5k

Few months ago you could get the same car for about a grand cheaper.

 

Yep think it will be a sellers market in a year or two, got to say what a underestimated car the frs is , im in loooove with mine at the moment
