wheel skimming help

Default wheel skimming help

ive got a 1.8 ford focus. at the moment i just put a set of rs focus wheels on it. the off set is alot wider as i thought. i have been told that a can get the wheels skimmed. is this true? or is there any other way around the problem? as i want to lower my car Cheers

I would not recommed this removing material from the hub face can weaken the wheel..

Can u not roll the arches ??

A change of profile on the tyres is the key, you will need to go for 215/35/18 instead of the 225/40/18 that the rs uses.

I have seen a few running on none rs focus' without any rubbing issues with this profile tyre. I know of an st170 with these rims and coilovers that has no rubbing issues.
