Default Mercer's Focus ST170

Thought I'd put some pics up in here too - any more 170 owners?.

This is my ST170. Had it just coming a year now, done a few external mods : lockwood lower grill w/ new style st badge, upper collection grill, painted the calipers red, black smoked lights.

Performance wise I've got a K&N panel, Kent vernier exhaust cam pulley & Milltek exhaust cat back. I've got a few under chrome bits & pieces too, recently add a washer top & brake reservoir cover and sensor cap.

Cheers guys .

Andy the pulley itself I got from e-bay, £80 I think. The tuning I got done a Pumabuild, was meant to be £180 but I walked away with other things. The Milltek I got from Pumaspeed after I read in both Performance & Fast Ford it was the best exhaust. Tony @ Pumaspeed was great help and I only buy my mods from there now, the exhaust was £310.00 at the time.

The club I'm in (link in my siggy) gets club discount with Pumaspeed.

TBH I would check your 170 is running in top form before anything mate as mine didn't make the 170 mark due to various reasons. Main thing is to check your throttle body is opening up correctly, can tell you how to do this if you don't already. Make sure your air filter is clean, best to gt a k&n jobbie as a bit more air flow and a hue mileage gurantee. Make sure it's serviced regularly i.e oil change, spark plugs, leads etc. And your heigo/lamba sensor could be playing or coked up, this would hold the car back. A lamba would put the engine management light on, but, on the heigo you wouldn't know until you get one.
